John Tomase Will Be On TV Tonight

Posted by Mike on June 30, 2008

Matt Walsh’s best friend, John Tomase will make a special guest appearance on Comcast’s “Sports Tonight” at 10pm. Any chance that Belichick is going to watch? I guess you have a better chance of partying with these guys, than Belichick actually watching it. He’s probably balls deep in Linda Holliday anyways. Well, set your DVR’s everyone.

Daily Dump: Stuart Scott Is The Anti-Christ

Posted by Mike on June 30, 2008

This comes from our guest blogger: Zippanut

Why Stuart Scott sucks…. He is one of the worst sports anchors on ESPN, if you watched the NBA Finals and draft coverage you would now why… He thinks he’s funny with his dumb jokes and catch phrases but he isn’t…. How about his James Posey line I SUPPOSE, James Posey.   What is that? It’s terrible that’s what it is… He ruined the NBA Draft cause he wouldn’t shut his trap he kept rambling on about nothing,  on draft day half the people watching don’t now most of the players in the draft, that’s why they have analysts to tell us about the players…. When Stu Scott is there he takes time up talking about nothing and making up lines… He ruined the draft and every other coverage he does.   I didn’t think anyone could be that bad covering sports but he’s up there, he needs to hire a writer cause the shit he writes is just that SHIT…
Thank you have a nice day and happy trails,

Cougar For Sale $$$

Posted by Mike on June 30, 2008

If you have $500,000 you can not only have Deven Trabosh, but you can also have her 2,000 square foot house as well. Sounds like a good deal too me! Trabosh, will even put a bit of a show on for you:

“I figured let’s combine the ad because I’m looking for love and I’m looking to sell the house,” said Trabosh, a Barbie-esque blonde who teeters around the nearly 2,000 square-foot house in patent leather heels.

Deven ain’t so bad looking. There are a few more pics of her here. She isn’t quite Spank Bank material, maybe 15 years ago, but not today. She does remind me of a poor woman’s Linda Hogan, but Deven seems to have a little bit less mileage on her and she definitely seems more willing to please, if you know what I mean. Perhaps, she does looks like a wannabe cast member of Housewives of the OC , but I’d be willing to pony up the 500K with a few demands first.

  1. She cannnot talk between the hours of 5pm and 11:30 pm
  2. She must cater to my every need
  3. I would need to be Lewinskyed twice a day
  4. She must do the yard work
  5. I must be allowed to dip my head in oil and rub it all over her body, or just this

So, If Deven Trabosh were to agree to my demands, I would pony up the 500K and Sons of Bill Simmons would finally have a home. I won’t be holding my breath. Note: I did leave out third-input as one of my demands, perhaps if I were Greek that would have been a demand.

Britney Does It Again

Posted by Mike on June 30, 2008

Ah, my future wife did it again! Britney flashed her tuna one more time for all her loyal fans.I guess the possibility for a Hanes endorsement are out the window. The picture can be seen right here, and its very NSFW. The more I see of her, the more I adore her. Not too sure what K-Fed did too get her, but I’m willing to go to extreme measures. Ms. Britney certainly likes to fancy off her tuna and let the public know she isn’t a fan of Gillette. Looks like Brit is going a bit retro these days. After seeing this picture I pulled a KG. I’ll admit that it may look like a beat catcher’s mitt, but I’d still hit it.

Kerry Wood Shows Fans Whose #1

Posted by Mike on June 30, 2008

Reason # 57 why I can’t stand Kerry Wood. This guy was the most hyped about pitcher for 3 years, drawing comparison to Roger Clemens. Now, he is hurt more than Pervis Ellison and has landed in the bullpen were he has actually pitched well. Wood, has really one great accomplishment. That is his 20-strikeout game. He always had a lot of promise, but now he is about as washed up as Pam Anderson. I am actually surprised that it is June, and Wood isn’t on the DL. Hey Kerry, right back at ya!

How Did Brook Lopez Get Into Stanford?

Posted by Mike on June 30, 2008

I think Bill Simmons summed it up best when he said that Brook has a Andre the Giant like voice. I thought that Stanford was a tough school to get into, even if you did play sports. Apparently not. Brook, honestly sounds like he’s missing a chromosome, or may have a small form of down-syndrome. Paging Eric Montross. I know that Jay Bilas loved him, but after watching that quick snippet; would you draft him?

James Posey Will Opt Out Today

Posted by Mike on June 30, 2008

One of the Boston Celtics most important players in their Championship run will opt-out of his contract today. James Posey, who was a key contributor in the playoffs and really helped shutdown LeBron James and Kobe Bryant, more than likely has played his last game as a Celtic. He was set to make a little over 4 Million, but with his performance in the playoffs he is likely to command a deal for 4-5 years for 6 Million per. Those numbers the Celtics will not match. The C’s are already over the luxury tax as it is, and they do not want to go deeper into the tax. They can not afford to spend like Mavericks or the Knicks. As for Posey, who is now the new Robert Horry, look for a lot of teams to be interested. Two teams of interest will be the Lakers and Spurs.

What’s With Manny?

Posted by Mike on June 30, 2008

What has been going on with Manny and being violent lately? First, there was the incident with Kevin Youkilis, and now he pushed down the Red Sox Traveling Secretary, for not being able to get him 16 tickets to the Houston game. The story was reported by Sean McAdam and it says:

Manny Ramirez shoved Red Sox traveling secretary Jack McCormick to the ground in an argument over Ramirez’ ticket allotment. Several onlookers moved quickly to separate the two.

Ramirez had asked McCormick for 16 tickets for Saturday night’s Red Sox-Astros game, an unusually high number for day-of-game. In addition to handling all travel details for clubs, traveling secretaries also take player ticket requests for both home and away games.

When McCormick cautioned Ramirez that he might not be able to fulfill his request, Ramirez responded by shouting: “Just do your job!”

An argument insued and Ramirez pushed McCormick, sending him to the ground.

This could potentially result in the Red Sox not picking up his option. This is suddenly becoming a reoccurring theme with Manny, and the Red Sox being so PR conscience, they may just decide that Manny is no longer worth the trouble. It would be a huge letdown to fans if Manny played somewhere else next year, maybe the pressure of the contract is getting to him.
